“The Right to Breathe” research project surveyed the parents of children under 5
years of age in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to assess parents’ perception of harmful effects of air pollution on
children’s health, current practices used to minimize health risks, as well as the main challenges that prevent
them from taking such protective measures. The study employed an analytical cross-sectional design.
