Prevent CO poisoning

Protect Yourself

Reduce Emissions

During the 2020-2021 heating season, a total of 786 people were exposed to carbon monoxide, and the number was 44 as of September 2021. Carbon monoxide is a deadly gas that results from the incomplete combustion of the organic compounds we use every day, such as coal and wood, and from car and cigarette smoke. This gas is invisible to the naked eye, has no specific odor, and when got into blood, causes the cells to become deprived of oxygen. Therefore, we need to know what substances emit carbon monoxide, the symptoms of poisoning, measures to take, and how to treat it, so that we can prevent CO poisoning.
