Air pollution affects all body systems

Air pollution affects every stage of human life and every organ system. Exposure to a certain amount of particulate matter in the womb can cause miscarriages, low birth weight babies, inhibit the growth of children's lungs, affect children's brain development, and become the basis of chronic diseases, cancer, and strokes in adulthood. Air pollution is even affecting our fertility, reducing the potency of our sperm cells and increasing the rate of infertility in women.

As a result of our collaboration with the LUDOK project team at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), we are pleased to present the following interactive figures in both Mongolian and English.
