Wear my mask
One of the easiest and most effective ways you can protect yourself and your loved ones from air pollution is wearing a mask when the air quality is bad. Air quality is considered harmful when the the Air Quality Index (AQI) scale exceeds the safe level of 50 (AQI > 50). This means wearing your mask whenever the AQI is above 50, regardless of what season it is. You can easily check your local air quality using our map.
Different types of masks protect you from different types of air pollutants. N95 masks, for example, protect you from harmful particulate matters, like PM2.5, that can invade your lungs and enter your bloodstream.

I pledge to Wear my mask
I will wear my mask outdoors when the AQI level is red or higher order to protect myself and set an example for others.
